Error code 30169-22 when installing Office

If you see error code 30169-22 when you install Office, restarting your computer might fix the problem. If that doesn’t work, use the Fix it tool to completely remove Office from your computer, and then restart the install.

Remove and reinstall Office

  1. Click this Fix it.

  2. At the bottom of your browser screen, click Open.

    Click Open

  3. After the Fix it tool is done, install Office again:

    If you’re a home user, sign in to your account page and click Install.

    If you’re a business user, sign in to the Office 365 portal and click Install.
