Edge Server Properties: Internal

Use the Internal tab to specify all internal Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) domains and servers authorized to connect to this Access Edge Server.

Next hop network address

The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the Access Edge Server's next internal hop. This is typically a Director or a Front End Server.

Port

The listening port of the next hop server. Valid values range from 1 to 65535. The default value is 5061.

Internal SIP domains supported by Office Communications Server in your organization

All internal domains authorized to connect to this Access Edge Server. Do not add federated domains to this list.

Add Domain

Click to add an authorized internal domain.

Remove

After clicking a domain in the list, click to remove the authorized domain.

Internal servers authorized to connect to this edge server

A list of internal servers authorized to connect to this Access Edge Server.

Add Server

Click to add an authorized internal server.

Remove

After clicking a server in the list, click to remove the authorized internal server.

Domains

The Access Edge Server must recognize all internal SIP domains.

Servers

The list of authorized internal SIP servers should include the following:

  • All servers that can send messages to the Access Edge Server from within the internal network.

  • All internal servers that can establish connections to the Web Conferencing Edge Server or A/V Edge Server.

  • All servers to which a script or managed application running on the Access Edge Server can route messages.
