Creating a building block group in Management Reporter

A Microsoft Office PerformancePoint 2007 Management Reporter building block group is a collection of rows, columns, trees, account sets, and reports. Each Management Reporter entity can have its own building block group, or several Management Reporter entities can share the same building block group.

  1. On the Entity menu, click Building Block Groups.

  2. In the Building Block Groups dialog box, click New.

  3. In the New Building Block Group dialog box, in the Name box, type a unique building block group name.

    The name can be a maximum of 16 characters in length.

  4. In the Description box, type a building block group description.

    The description can be a maximum of 50 characters in length, including spaces.

  5. Click OK.

  6. In the Building Block Groups dialog box, click Close.
