Create or Edit an Event

Use this page to create and manage all details about an event.

Step 1 - Event Basics (Required)

In the Title box, type the title of the event.

In the Description box, type the event description as you want it to appear on the registration page.

In the The event has list, click one of the following:

  • Live Meetings. Choose this to enable presenters to conduct Live Meeting sessions with registrants in real time.

  • Recorded Sessions. Choose this to enable registrants to view recorded Live Meeting sessions only.

In the Registration approval list, click one of the following:

  • Manual. You will approve all registrants manually.

  • Automatic. Registrants will be automatically approved as soon as they submit their registration.

If you want to make the event available to other users on your Live Meeting server, select the Make the event public check box.

Step 2 - Event Details

To view or change the registration page that registrants will use to register for the event, click Registration Form.

To view or change the automatic notifications that registrants and presenters will receive about the event, click E-mail Notifications.

To view or change the list of questions that you will ask registrants to answer upon entering a Live Meeting session or recorded session for the event, click Entry Questions.

To view or change the appearance of the registration page, surveys, tests, and other Web pages associated with the event, click Event Branding.

To view or change the survey that you will ask registrants to fill out about the event, click Surveys.

Step 3 - Event Meetings (Required to publish event)

To create a meeting for the event, click New Meeting. You must create at least one meeting or recording for your event before proceeding to Step 4 or publishing the event.

To remove a meeting from the event, select the check box next to the meeting name that you want to remove, and then click Delete.

Step 4 - Meeting Elements

To manage the list of people who will present at the Live Meeting sessions for the event, click Event Presenters.

To upload files to use as handouts for Live Meeting sessions for the event, click Meeting Handouts.

To create or manage tests that you can use to quiz registrants about the contents of an event, click Tests.

Buttons and Links

When you have finished making changes to the event, click one of the following:

  • To save your changes to the event, click Save.

  • To view summary information about the event and send invitations, click Summary.

  • To publish the event, click Publish Now.

  • To leave this page without saving your changes to the event, click Cancel.
