Change the direction and alignment of PivotDiagram nodes

You can automatically change the direction and alignment of the data nodes in a PivotDiagram. Which alignments are available depends on the direction that is selected. If you don't see the alignment that you want, you might find it if you first change the direction.

Change the direction of a level of nodes

  1. Click the parent node of the level that you want to change.

  2. On the PivotDiagram menu, point to Layout direction, and then click the direction that you want.

Change the alignment of a level of nodes

  1. Click the parent node of the level that you want to change.

  2. On the PivotDiagram menu, point to Layout Alignment, and then click the alignment that you want.

    The Layout Alignment list shows your choices graphically.
