Back up Business Contact Manager data

In Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007, you can back up your files to protect your business data against loss. Also, before uninstalling Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007, you should back up your files so you can TE000129571 your business data if you later re-install Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007.

Because the data you are using may be stored in other systems besides Business Contact Manager for Outlook, you should back up data in each one to safeguard the most complete information. We recommend that you schedule regular backups at approximately the same time for these tasks. Then, if you have to restore data, the information from each can be restored at the same starting point.

When Business Contact Manager for Outlook is installed, a reminder to Back up your Business Contact Manager Database is automatically added to your Task list. To remove the reminder, delete the task, or mark it complete, see Complete a task.
