You can manage all of your business cloud services and features from one central location called the Office 365 Admin center. In the Admin center, you can add users, manage domains, licenses, and more. In this article, we give you a tour of some of the major features in the Admin center.
You can get to the Admin center by clicking the Admin tile when you first sign in to Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
If you are already signed in and don't see the tiles, select the app launcher icon in the upper-left side (as shown below) and choose Admin.
Note: The Admin tile appears only to Office 365 administrators.
Note: If you don't see the screens shown below, you may be using the Admin center preview. For more information, see Office 365 operated by 21Vianet Admin Center Preview.
The Office 365 Admin Center initially opens in the Dashboard view, which looks like this:
On the left side, you can get to any administrative task. In the middle, you will find the most common tasks for managing your organization.
Choose Setup to follow a guided walk-through to add users, import user data and set up online collaboration.
Under Users, you can add new users, such as employees and students. You can reset forgotten passwords and you can assign software licenses for users to enable features like Word and Excel, mail and online storage. For more information, see Create or edit user accounts.
Under Domains, you can add or remove domain names, which gives you a personalized email or website address. For more information, see Verify your domain in Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
Under Billing, you can view your subscriptions, and purchase Office 365 Business licenses. For more information, see Manage your subscriptions for Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
At the bottom of the page, check current health for known issues with Office 365. If you have problems with your mail, sites, documents, or meetings, this is a good place to start.
Visit the Message center to learn about service updates, new features, and important steps you may need to take to keep things running smoothly.
If you need any help at any time, open Support, check the help content on top. If you can't find your answer, submit a service request to contact 21Vianet for support, or click Learn more to know more options.
