Adjusting columns while designing reports in Management Reporter

You can adjust the width of a column, and you can hide or show a column, while working in the row definition. Any modifications that you make affect the screen appearance only and do not affect the column formatting in reports.

Change the Width of a Column

  1. On the Format menu, click Column Width.

  2. In the Column Width box, type a value.

    You can also drag the right boundary of a column heading cell until the column is the width that you want.

Hide One or More Columns

You can hide one or more columns so that they are not visible in the view pane.

  1. Select the column or columns that you want to hide.

  2. Right-click, and then click Hide.

Show All Hidden Columns

  1. Select the column on either side of the hidden column or columns that you want to display.

  2. Right-click, and then click Unhide.
