Add transition effects to your PowerPoint presentation

You can use your mobile device to add transitions to your PowerPoint presentation. Slide transitions are the animation-like effects that occur in Slide Show view when you move from one slide to the next during an on-screen presentation.

In PowerPoint, transitions are not the same as animations. An animation is assigned to a component within a single slide, while a transition affects the entire slide and everything on it. For information about animating text or objects in your presentation, see Add animation effects to your PowerPoint presentation with your mobile device.

Note: You can't add sound effects or set a time to advance to the next slide in PowerPoint on mobile devices at this time. However, if you open presentations with these features on a mobile device, you will be able to play them back.
