Add, change, or remove borders

To add interest and emphasis to your presentation, add or change borders to text, tables, shapes, and pictures.

Text borders

  1. Select the text box that you want to change.

  2. On the Format tab, in the Drawing group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline, and then select the border options you want.

    To remove the border, click No Outline.

Table borders

  1. Select the table or table cells that you want to change.

  2. On the Design tab, in the Table Styles group, click the arrow next to Borders. and then select the border options you want.

    Select No Border to remove a table border.

Shape borders

  1. Select the shape that you want to change.

  2. On the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline. Select the border options you want.

    To remove a border, select No Outline.

Picture borders

  1. Select the picture that you want to change.

  2. On the Format tab, in the Drawing group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline, and then select the border options you want.

    To remove a border, select No Outline.
