If you want to share files with people outside your organization, you can use Anyone links. If this option is disabled, you'll need to turn it on.

  1. Choose Admin from the app launcher The app launcher icon in Office 365.

  2. In the admin center at https://admin.microsoft.com, choose Show more > Admin centers > SharePoint.

  3. Choose Try the preview to go to the new SharePoint admin center.

  4. Under Sites, choose Site management, and then select the site you're using to share.

  5. In the Properties pane on the right, scroll to the bottom, and next to Sharing status, select Change.

  6. Under Let users share with, choose Anyone, and then choose Save.

If you want to share files with people outside your organization, you can use Anyone links. If this option is disabled, go the app launcher and choose Admin. If you don't see Admin, talk to your administrator or IT staff.

In the admin center, choose Shore more to expand the list, then Admin centers, then SharePoint.

Choose Try the preview to go to the new SharePoint admin center.

Go to Site management, and select the site you're using to share.

Scroll to the bottom, and you'll see Sharing status. Select Change, Anyone, and Save.

Now you can choose an Anyone link when sharing.
