When you try to recover deleted items from Outlook you get the following error:
Outlook was unable to recover some or all of the items in this folder. Make sure you have the required permissions to recover items in this folder, and try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator
Note: This only occurs with Office 365 Cloud.
We're aware of this service side issue and we're actively working on a fix. In the meantime, you can try the following:
Use Outlook Web Access to restore items. To do this, follow the Recover an item that's no longer in your Deleted Items folder steps in this article: Recover deleted items or email in Outlook Web app.
Select more than one item at a time when you restore items in Outlook. The issue seems to occur more often when restoring individual items.
