View presence information

  1. Make sure the view includes at least one column that is set to display presence information. If a column can display presence information, you will see the Presence ( Presence icon ) icon in the column header.

  2. Exit edit mode by pressing ESC.

  3. Pause the mouse pointer over a row in the column to display the Presence icon.

  4. Click the down arrow in the icon to display a list of actions that you can take to collaborate with the user.

Add a column that displays presence information

  1. Right click an existing column and click Add Column.

  2. Enter a column name and select Person or Group as the type of information to store in the column.

  3. Ensure that Name (with presence) is selected in the Show field drop-down list, and click OK.
