If you delete a contact in Outlook and need to recover it, you can retrieve it from the Deleted Items folder.
Select Deleted Items.
In the Search Deleted Items box, type in fullname:.
Type in any part of your contact’s first or last name after the fullname: command.
To move your contact back to your address book, right-click your contact and select Move > Other Folder....
Select Contacts > OK.
To find your recovered contact, select People.
If you’d like to recover a deleted contact in Outlook, you can retrieve it from your Deleted Items folder.
First, choose Deleted Items,
and in the Search Deleted Items box, type in “fullname,” followed by a colon.
This will help filter the search results to just Outlook contacts.
Next, type in any part of your contact’s first or last name after the fullname: command.
Then press Enter.
Once your contact appears, you can move it back to your address book.
Right-click your contact and choose Move…
and then choose Other Folder….
Choose Contacts and click OK.
To find your recovered contact, choose People.
And there’s your contact.
