Use error checking to detect errors in formulas

There’s currently no way to use rules that check your formulas for errors in Excel Online.

If you have the Excel desktop application, you can use the Open in Excel button to open your workbook to use error checking rules that help you check your formulas for errors. Here’s how:

Click Open in Excel and use error checking to detect errors in formulas.
