Uploading Board Code & Arduino IDE

To upload the board code, you must first download the Arduino IDE. You can download it by visiting this link: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software

Follow the instructions on Arduino’s website to download the IDE. After you've successfully installed the software, open the application. You should now see a screen like this one:

To upload the board code, download the project-specific microcontroller code (.ino file) on the Hacking STEM project webpage. When you open the file, you may be prompted to automatically create a folder for the file. If this is the case, agree to create the folder.  

Tip: Your Instructions PDF and the OneNote notebook included with each project provide detailed instructions on how to upload the board code.
