OneDrive will automatically convert local notebooks from the local OneDrive folder to a cloud notebook that you can open from the app or on the web. 

To move a notebook into your OneDrive, do the following: 

  1. Open File Explorer or Finder.

  2. Navigate to your OneNote notebook folder.

  3. Select the Notebook's folder, and press CTRL+X or Command+X.

  4. Navigate to the desired folder in your OneDrive.

  5. Press CTRL+V or Command+to move the Notebook into the desired location in OneDrive.

Note: Your OneNote notebook will be converted to a cloud notebook and shown in File Explorer or Finder as an internet shortcut.
