Setting list view properties

Note: This article has done its job, and will be retiring soon. To prevent "Page not found" woes, we're removing links we know about. If you've created links to this page, please remove them, and together we'll keep the web connected.

In general, list view properties affect the appearance of the view. For example, you can show or hide grid lines and unread marks, show or hide an Attachments column, automatically expand or collapse response hierarchies, and restrict access to the view for some or all users. You can also enable or disable a view to be the target of a lookup from other tools.

  1. Enter the Designer.

  2. Click the view for which you want to set properties.

Click the Properties tab.

Check or uncheck the options you want.
