Plan members: manage group emails for your Planner plans

In Microsoft Planner, you can choose to have an email sent to you when:

  • Someone assigns you a task: One email will be sent for each task assigned. The email notification will include a link to the task in Planner.

  • You have tasks that are late or near their due date: You will receive a notification once a day for every day that you have any of the following:

    • Tasks due in the last 7 days

    • Tasks due today

    • Tasks due in the next 7 days

These emails will be sent any day of the week, including weekends, and will not include tasks that are completed or tasks that were due more than 7 days ago, even if you haven't marked them complete.

Email notifications for task assignment and tasks due are automatically turned on.
