ISSUE

Users receive the following error when using any Office application: "Microsoft <appname> stopped working. Windows is verifying a solution for this...". This issue occurs only on Windows 7 devices that have not been updated to Service Pack 1.

STATUS: FIXED

To fix this issue, install the latest service pack and updates for Windows 7. Visit Service Pack and Update Center for the latest updates.
