Education Resources gives educators access to approximately 300,000 standards-aligned open educational resources in OneNote, and about 1,000 assessments in Forms. Teachers can search using filters for grade level, subject, standards and more – then insert into OneNote and Forms for classroom use. These features must be enabled in the Office 365 Administration Center.
Other ways educators can leverage Education Resources:
Organize resources in collections: Educators can group resources in different collections to organize for future use.
Upload resources: Educators can upload their own class materials to Education Resources to share with other teachers within their school and the worldwide teaching community. When uploading resources, teachers will select one of four Creative Commons licenses.
The ability to upload is currently in preview and off by default in the Office 365 Admin Center—it must be switched on, even after the Education Resources feature itself is enabled.
Note: In order to manage Education Resources settings, you must have already enabled the Microsoft Store for Education and have IT Admin privilege.
Enable the upload feature within Education Resources:
Within the O365 Portal, access the Admin center.
Select Settings, then Services & add-ins.
Select Education Resources, slide the toggle switch to On, then select Save. Then, you can choose to also enable the upload feature.
Review the Service Agreement, then Accept.
