To set expectations, this isn't a comprehensive list of every last little fix in the build. Instead, consider it a highlight reel of interesting new features, important fixes, and any significant issues we want you to know about.

  • After Outlook autocorrects an ellipsis, the Redo button instead functions as Undo.

  • Outlook Message List renders white/black rectangles in certain circumstances.

  • Outlook sent blank message body with some 3rd party archive add-ins.

  • Crash when right-clicking on a recipient.

  • Outlook Message List renders white/black rectangles in certain circumstances.

On January 27, 2018 we released Version 1802 (Build 9020.2003) to our Insider audience.

Top fixes

  • Sometimes searching resulted in "No matches found" when scoped to "All Mailboxes", now it works.

  • We fixed an issue that prevented some messages from being resent.

  • Resolved an issue that would occasionally remove attachments when forwarding plain text messages. 

  • Outlook would sometimes fail to open certain SMS messages, now you can.

  • We fixed an issue with duplicate country codes in specifically formatted phone numbers for new contacts.

  • Various performance and stability fixes.

On December 20, 2017, we released version 1801 (Build 8911.2016) to Insiders.

New or improved Features

  • Improvements to groups: Conversations load faster than ever and you can double-click to open the latest message in its own window.

  • In the File > Account screen, the version and build number has moved. Look for it next to the About <app> button.

On November 20, 2017 we released Version 1712 (Build 8813.1000) to our Insider audience. However, we found a significant issue in 8813.1000 so we made the decision to release an earlier, more stable build.

On October 31, 2017 we released Version 1711 (Build 8711.2037) to our Insider audience.

On October 20, 2017 we released Version 1710 (Build 8625.2055) to our Insider audience.

On September 19, 2017 we released Version 1710 (Build 8613.1000) to our Insider audience.
