Organize busy lives with a OneNote Family Notebook. From to-do lists and recipes to vacation plans and sharing important contact information, it’s a single and convenient online destination for your entire family’s priorities.
What is OneNote Family Notebook?
The Family Notebook is a pre-populated OneNote notebook (similar to the popular Class Notebook) made specifically for families to help organize their busy lives. It uses your Microsoft Family account to share notes and information with all family members and it automatically adjusts notebook permissions whenever family members are added or removed.
How can I try out OneNote Family Notebook?
Visit the OneNote Family Notebook Creator site and sign in using your free Microsoft account. If your account is already associated with Microsoft Family, your Family Notebook will be created automatically.
Tip: Don’t have a Microsoft Account yet? Click here to sign up — it’s free!
What if I’m not yet a member of Microsoft Family?
The OneNote Family Notebook Creator will help to navigate you to the Microsoft Family page where you can start adding members to your family.
How does OneNote Family Notebook work?
After you sign in and create your Family Notebook, it automatically adds everyone associated with your Microsoft Family account as notebook collaborators and then shares the notebook with them.
If you make any changes to your Microsoft Family account over time (such as adding or removing family members), your OneNote Family Notebook will automatically update those members’ notebook sharing permissions.
Your Family Notebook will automatically open in OneNote Online in your Web browser, but you can also use it in any OneNote app for Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android. Visit www.onenote.com/download to get the app for your preferred platform or device — they’re free!
Is OneNote Family Notebook available in different languages?
OneNote Family Notebook is currently available only in English.
