Problems with text, underline, and flickering screens when using Office edit languages

ISSUE

You may experience one of the following issues when switching and using an edit language:

• Text does not appear until hitting the Enter key on the keyboard. When the text does appear it may have a blue background color.

• Cannot remove underline.

• In PowerPoint, the user interface (UI) may flicker and you may be unable to type. This may also lead to a crash.

STATUS: FIXED

This issue is fixed in Monthly Channel Version 1805 (Build 9330.2087) and higher. To get the latest update immediately, open an Office app and choose File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
