If you've connected your LinkedIn account to your Microsoft personal account, you can disconnect them at any time. When you disconnect your accounts, LinkedIn will no longer provide data to your Microsoft account, and your Microsoft account will no longer provide data to LinkedIn. 

Contacts that have been imported to LinkedIn from your Microsoft account are not automatically deleted when you disconnect accounts. Learn about managing your imported contacts on LinkedIn.

Disconnecting from either LinkedIn or Microsoft will have the same effect.

To disconnect and remove data sharing permissions between LinkedIn and Microsoft using your Microsoft account, do the following:

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft account at https://accounts.microsoft.com.

  2. Select the Privacy box.

  3. Select the Overview tab.

  4. Scroll down to Other privacy settings > Apps and services.

  5. Select Apps and services that can access your data.

  6. Select Remove these permissions.

To disconnect and remove data sharing permissions between LinkedIn and Microsoft using your LinkedIn account, do the following:

  1. Select the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.

  2. Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.

  3. Under the Partners and services section of the Account tab, select Change next to Microsoft.

  4. Select Remove next to Connect with your personal Microsoft Account.

You can also access LinkedIn using your Microsoft account:

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft account at https://accounts.microsoft.com.

  2. Select Privacy (you might be prompted to sign in again).

  3. Select the Overview tab on top of the page.

  4. Scroll down to the LinkedIn section and select VIEW LINKEDIN CONNECTION SETTINGS.
