In the Suggestions view in To-Do for iPhone, you can use the iOS built-in screen reader, VoiceOver, to mark tasks complete, add them to My Day, and fetch additional suggested tasks. The Suggestions view shows you uncompleted tasks that are, for example, overdue or due today.

Open Suggestions

  1. In the My Day view in To-Do, swipe right until VoiceOver announces: "Suggestions, button."

  2. Double-tap the screen to open the Suggestions view.

Complete tasks

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe right until VoiceOver announces the item you want to mark complete.

  2. Swipe right once more. VoiceOver announces: "Not completed to-do item, button."

  3. To mark the item complete, double-tap the screen.

Add a task to My Day

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe right until VoiceOver announces the item you want to add to My Day.

  2. Double-tap the screen to select the item and open the Details view.

  3. Swipe right until VoiceOver announces: "Add to-do item to My Day, button."

  4. Double-tap the screen to select and add the item to My Day.

Load more suggestions

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe right until VoiceOver announces: "More, button."

  2. Double-tap the screen to select the button and load more items.

Close Suggestions

  1. While on an item in the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe left until VoiceOver announces: "Done, button."

  2. Double-tap the screen to select the button and close the Suggestions view.

  2. Swipe right until TalkBack announces: "Add to-do to My Day button."

  3. Double-tap the screen to select and add the item to My Day.

Close Suggestions

  1. While on an item in the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe left until TalkBack announces: "Back button."

  2. Double-tap the screen to select the button and close the Suggestions view. The My Day view opens and TalkBack announces: "My Day."

    Tip: You can also explore the items on the screen. To explore, place your finger on the screen and slowly drag it around. When you find an item, Narrator announces it. For example, to navigate to the Suggestions button in the My Day view, place your finger on the screen and drag it to the top right corner until Narrator announces: "Suggestions button." To stop exploring, just lift your finger and the focus stays where you left it.

  2. Double-tap the screen to open the Suggestions view.

Complete tasks

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe right until Narrator announces the item you want to mark complete.

  2. Swipe right once more. Narrator announces: "Unchecked complete check box."

  3. To mark the item complete, double-tap the screen.

Add a task to My Day

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe right until Narrator announces the item you want to add to My Day.

  2. Keep swiping right until Narrator announces: "Add to My Day."

  3. Double-tap the screen to select and add it to My Day.

Load more suggestions

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe left until Narrator announces: "Load more suggestions, hyperlink."

  2. Double-tap the screen to select and load more items.

Close Suggestions

  1. While on an item in the Suggestions view in To-Do, swipe left until Narrator announces: "Done button."

  2. Double-tap the screen to select the button and close the Suggestions view. The My Day view opens and Narrator announces: "My Day."

  1. In the Suggestions view in To-Do, press Tab repeatedly until Narrator announces: "More button."

  2. Press Enter to select and load more items.

Close Suggestions

  1. While on an item in the Suggestions view in To-Do, press Shift+Tab until Narrator announces: "Hide suggested to-dos button. Done."

  2. Press Enter to select the button and close the Suggestions view. The My Day view opens and Narrator announces: "Access suggested to-dos via suggestions button."
