If you bought a PC pre-loaded with Windows 10, there should be two tiles on the Start screen that are Office related. You can find the tiles by browsing the Start screen or searching on the tile name.
If Office was pre-loaded on your PC, you'll want to open the Office tile so you can activate and start to use Office. The Office tile takes you to a try, buy, or activate experience where you can choose Activate to install your Office software that came with your PC.
The Get Office tile is for people who don’t have Office or they have older versions of Office. The Get Office tile is part of Windows 10 and is available in the Windows Store:
If you have Office 2010 or earlier, it takes you to a page where you can upgrade to the latest version of Office.
If you already have Office 2016, it takes you to a page with information about how to find the Office apps and how to get the most out of Office.
If you don’t have Office, it takes you to the Office 2016 Trial page where you can try Office 365 for free.
