Change your Office 365 for business password

Change your Office 365 for business password to keep your account secure.

  1. Sign in to office.com/signin with your work or school account.

  2. Go to Settings > Password.

  3. Enter your old password.

  4. Create a new password and confirm it.

  5. Select Submit to finish and change your password.

Important: Your organization determines character requirements and how frequently you need to change your password. If you do not see the option to change your password, your organization is blocking you from changing it. Contact your admin for more information.

What is Office 365?

It’s important to know how to change your password. You might want to make your account more secure or your organization might require it.

If you use Office 365 for business, sign in at office.com/signin with your work or school account.

Choose Settings and Password.

Your organization determines character requirements and how frequently you need to change your password.

Enter your old password and then create a new password.

Confirm it and choose Submit to finish.

That’s it. Your password is now updated.
