The User activities report

In the Office 365 admin center, you can locate lots of different types of reports, including those for Skype for Business Online. You can use the User activities report to show the total number of activities that a user participated in during the past 3 months.

Caution: If you think your are getting inaccurate or incomplete reporting information, try the newly released Skype for Business activity reports. These new reports can be found in the new Office 365 admin center are replacing the Skype for Business reports that are found in the classic Office 365 admin center.

To view this report
  1. Go to the Office 365 admin center > Reports.

  2. In the Office 365 Dashboard window, under Skype for Business click User activities.

This report uses these metrics:

Metric

Description

Last sign-in time

Shows the date and time user last signed into Skype for Business Online during a specific period of time.

Last activity time

Shows the last date and time user took participant into peer-to-peer sessions or conferences during a specific period of time

Total peer-to-peer sessions

Shows the total number of peer-to-peer sessions user took participated in during the specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer IM sessions

Shows the total number of peer-to-peer instant messaging (IM) sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer audio sessions

Shows the total number of peer-to-peer audio sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer video sessions

Shows the total number of peer-to-peer video sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer application sharing sessions

Shows the total number of peer-to-peer application sharing sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer audio session minutes

Shows the total minutes of peer-to-peer audio sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total peer-to-peer video session minutes

Shows the total minutes of peer-to-peer video sessions user took participated in during a specific time period.

Total organized conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period.

Total organized IM conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period and included instant messages.

Total organized audio/video conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period and included audio and video.

Total organized application sharing conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period and included application sharing.

Total organized web conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that included content such as documents, whiteboard content and were organized by a specific user during a specific time period.

Total organized dial-in audio conferences

Show the total number of dial-in conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period.

Total organized audio/video conference minutes

Shows the total minutes of audio and video conferences that were organized by a user during a specific time period.

Total participated conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that a user participated in during a specific time period. The conferences that were organized by a user are not included even if the user joined this conference.

Total participated IM conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that included instant messages (IM) and were participated in by a user during a specific time period.

Total participated audio/video conferences

Show the total number of conferences that included audio and video and were participated in by a user during a specific time period.

Total participated application sharing conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that included application sharing and participated by user during the specific time period.

Total participated web conferences

Shows the total number of conferences that included content such as documents, whiteboard content and were participated in by a specific user during a specific time period.

Total participated dial-in audio conferences

Shows the total number of dial-in conferences that were participated by user during the specific time period.

Total participated audio/video conference minutes

Shows the total minutes of audio and video conferences participated in by a user during a specific time period.

Total placed PSTN calls

Shows the total number of calls that were routed through a PSTN provider and were initiated by a Skype for Business Online user during a specific time period.

Total received PSTN calls

Shows the total number of calls that were routed through a PSTN provider and by a Skype for Business Online user during the specific time period.

Total placed PSTN call minutes

Shows the total number of call minutes that were routed through a PSTN provider and initiated by a Skype for Business Online user during a specific time period.

Total received PSTN call minutes

Shows the total number of call minutes that were routed through a PSTN provider and received by a Skype for Business Online user during a specific time period.

Total  messages

Shows the total number of messages that were transferred from a user during peer-to-peer sessions.

Total transferred files

Shows the total number of files that were transferred by a user participated in during a specific time period.

Although it's easier to use the Office 365 admin center, you can also use the Get-CsUserActivitiesReport cmdlet to create this Skype for Business Online report.
