Skype for Business hybrid

Hybrid Definition

A hybrid deployment is a combination of on-premises applications or data and cloud-based services. For example, a Skype for Business hybrid deployment could involve using Skype for Business Online with Exchange Server on-premises. Another example could be using Skype for Business Server on-premises together with Office 365 Enterprise. With Skype for Business, you can choose from several different configurations.

Whether you move your organization to the cloud in a phased approach, or keep some users homed on-premises and others in the cloud, you can set up a Skype for Business hybrid deployment that meets your organization's needs.
