Show only pictures or all file types in a folder

The default setting in Microsoft Picture Manager displays only picture file types. For example, a picture-shortcut folder may contain a Microsoft Word document, but you will not see that file represented in the folder contents. You can change the default setting so that Picture Manager shows all file types.

  • On the View menu, click Show Pictures only.

If the option is cleared, Picture Manager displays all supported file types in a folder. If the option is selected, Picture Manager displays picture-file types in a folder.
