Send a task status report

A task status report keeps your colleagues updated on an assigned task in Outlook.

  1. Open the assigned task.

  2. Update the Status and % Complete boxes.

  3. Click Send Status Report.

  4. Add additional names or email addresses in the To and Cc boxes. The person who assigned you the task is automatically added.

  5. In the message body, type any status information you want to include.

  6. Click Send.
