Run a macro

If you created a macro to automate a task in a version of PowerPoint earlier than Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and you want to continue to run the macro in Office PowerPoint 2007, do the following:

  1. On the Developer tab, in the Code group, click Macros.

    Note: To show the Developer tab, see Access developer controls, write code, or create macros.

  2. In the Macro dialog box, under Macro name, select the macro that you want, and then click Run.


    • If you want to create or edit a macro, you must use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
