Repeated password prompts on Outlook 2016 for Mac

When you sign in and authenticate your profile with Outlook 2016 for Mac, you may experience one of the following:

  • Outlook prompts you repeatedly to sign in with your username and password.

  • Outlook can't verify your login information and displays a "security update" error.
