This privacy statement explains the data collection and use practices of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Newsfeed for iOS Mobile Devices (“SharePoint Newsfeed”). It does not apply to other online or offline Microsoft sites, products, or services.

Please note that other privacy statements may apply to the data you access and transmit through the SharePoint Newsfeed application, such as the privacy statement of the organization or company that provides you access to Microsoft SharePoint and the privacy statement associated with your device.

The SharePoint Newsfeed application is designed to enable iOS mobile device users to access their organization’s Microsoft SharePoint sites. The SharePoint Newsfeed application collects personally identifiable information, such as the user’s email and password, for authentication purposes, as described in the app documentation. Unless your organization uses SharePoint Online, no personally identifiable information is transmitted to Microsoft through the use of the SharePoint Newsfeed application. If you or your organization uses SharePoint Online, Microsoft does not process personally identifiable information as a data controller. Please contact your organization’s administrator or the SharePoint Online or SharePoint Newsfeed application help documentation for more detail.
