Print your speaker notes

Unlike PowerPoint for the desktop, PowerPoint Online doesn’t have a way to print your speaker notes. However, there are two ways you can print them if you absolutely need to. You can do a print screen from your browser, or if you have desktop PowerPoint, you can open your presentation and print your speaker notes there.

Print your notes from your browser

At the bottom, right corner of PowerPoint Online, click Notes Notes button . What you do next depends on which browser you are using.

We document the procedures for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome below:

Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Settings > Print > Print Preview.

    Note:  Set any options you want to control how your notes and slides print.

  2. Click Print Print > Print.

Firefox

  1. In Firefox, click Firefox > Print > Print Preview.

  1. Set any options you want to control how your notes and slides print, and then click Print Click Print .

Chrome

  1. In Chrome, in the upper, right corner, click Customize and Control Google Chrome Customize and Control Google Chrome .

  2. Click Print.

    Note:  There are options that you can set in Print Preview to control how your notes and slides print, and then click Print Click Print .

Print your notes from desktop PowerPoint

In PowerPoint Online, click Open in PowerPoint.

  1. In desktop PowerPoint, on the File tab, click Print.

  2. Under Settings, go to Full Page Slides, then under Print Layout, click Notes Pages.

  1. Pick any other print settings, such as how many copies you want, and then click Print.

Note: Notes Pages layout prints one slide per page, with speaker notes below.
