Modify Approval Line

The feature described in this Help topic is available only if any of the following versions of both Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 are installed: Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, or Korean.

If an approval role is specified as the next approver, you can specify a member of the role as an approver as described below. You can also claim or release the approval authority as a member of the approval role which has the current approval authority. For the detail information, see Claim approval authority of document assigned to your approval role.

  1. From either the Signer or the Cooperative/Co-Approval box, select an approval role you want.

  2. Click the down arrow that appears right to the approval role name to list all the individuals.

  3. Choose the people you want from the list. An approval request is sent only to the person you specified. Unless you specify certain individuals, an approval request is sent to all of the approval role members.
