Link an appointment to a Business Contact Manager record

When you schedule a new appointment from an Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Projectrecord, Business Contact Manager for Outlook automatically links it to that record.

You can also link an Outlook appointment to a record.

Schedule and link a new appointment to a record

  1. On the Business Contact Manager menu, click Accounts, Business Contacts, Opportunities, or Business Projects.

  2. Open the record that you want to link the appointment to.

  3. On the Ribbon, in the Show group, click History.

  4. Under History items, click New, and then click Appointment.

  5. Type the information in the Appointmentform, and then click Save & Close.

Link an Outlook appointment to a record

  1. On the Go menu, click Calendar.

  2. Open the appointment that you want to link to a record.

  3. On the Ribbon, in the Business Contact Manager group, click Link to Record.

  4. In the Link to Business Contact Manager Record dialog box, in the Folder list, click Accounts, Business Contacts, Opportunities, or Business Projects.

  5. Double-click the Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Project name to link it to the appointment.

  6. Click OK.

  7. On the Ribbon, in the Actions group, click Save & Close.
