Keep track of conversations on mobile devices

Desktop or web app user? See Keep track of conversations on the desktop and web app.

Find out more about @mentions and favorites and how to manage your settings for general notifications.

Here are some things you can do to stay up-to-date:

  • In the desktop or web app, arrange your teams in an order that makes sense to you, putting the busiest teams at the top of your list.

  • Favorite the channels you use the most. That way, they'll stay visible in your team list, and you'll see when new messages have been posted. On iOS and Android, tap the more icon and select the channels option to favorite channels.

  • @mention people so they @mention you. You'll see you've been @mentioned in your notifications.

  • Keep an eye on your activity feed. That lets you know whenever you've got notifications. On iOS and Android, use the feed options to select team or individual activity. You can also tap the funnel icon to filter your messages.

If someone’s trying to get your attention, you’ll receive a notification. For things like @mentions, replies, or likes, a red circle appears next to the Activity button.
