Find links between shapes and rows in the External Data window

The External Data window appears when you use the Link Data to Shapes command on the Data menu to import data into your drawing.

Find a shape or shapes linked to a row

  • Right-click the row, point to Linked Shapes, and then click the name of the shape that you want.

    That shape appears selected in the drawing.

Find a row linked to a shape

  • Right-click the shape, point to Data, and then click Show Linked Row.

    The row will be selected in the External Data window.
