Find invoices, cash sale forms, customer credit memos, and finance charges in a list

The Invoice List contains all the invoices, cash sale forms, customer credit memos, and finance charges from your company.

  1. On the Customers menu, point to Customer Lists, and then click Invoices.

  2. Do one or more of the following:

    • Open selected invoices, cash sale forms, customer credit memos, and finance charges.

      1. Select one or more (up to 10) items in the list.

      Hold down the CTRL key and select individual items, or hold down the SHIFT key and select a range of items.

      Select all the items in the list

      On the Edit menu, click Select All.

      Cancel a selection

      Hold down the CTRL key and click the item.

      1. On the File menu, click Open Selected Items.

    • Find an invoice, cash sale form, customer credit memo, or finance charge by keyword.

      1. On the toolbar, click Find.

      2. In the Look for field, type a keyword, such as a customer name.

      3. Click the arrow next to Search under, and then select a column title.

      4. Click Find.

      5. To return to the full list, click Clear.

    • View items by status.

      To view items by status, click the arrow next to Current View, and then do one of the following.

      Open

      View all invoices and finance charges that have been partially paid or have not been paid, and all customer credit memos for which bills have not been applied.

      Overdue

      View all invoices and finance charges that have been partially paid or have not been paid, and that have passed their due dates.

      Voided

      View all invoices, cash sale forms, customer credit memos, and finance charges that have been voided. The VOID stamp button image appears in the column next to the item.

      All

      View all invoices, cash sale forms, customer credit memos, and finance charges. A check mark in the Active column indicates an active item.

    • Print items from the list or print the Invoice List.

      1. Hold down the CTRL key and select individual items, or hold down the SHIFT key and select a range of items.

      2. Right-click, and then click Print Button image .

      3. In the Print dialog box, click Documents to print the selected items or click List to print the Invoice List, and then click OK.
