Find a data source

If your Data Source Library includes many data sources, you may sometimes find it difficult to locate the specific data source that you want. To quickly search for a data source by name, you can use the Find Data Source task pane.

  1. On the Task Panes menu, click Find Data Source.

  2. In the Search list, click the location that you want to search.

  3. In the For box, type all or part of the name of the data source.

You can search for multiple names by separating each pair of names with a space. For example, if you type tasks team, the Tasks list and the Team Discussion list are both included in the search results.

  4. Click Search Now.

  5. In the Search Results list, click the data source that you want, and then click the command that you want to run.

For example, if you type s in the For box and then click Search Now, you might see the following results.
