Here's how you export contacts from Outlook.com so you can import them into Outlook 2010, 2013, or 2016. You can use this procedure to export them for use in other email services, too.
Sign in to your Outlook.com account.
At the top of the screen, select the App Launcher > People.
On the toolbar, select Manage > Export contacts.
If you don't see the Export contacts button, wait a few moments and then select Manage again. If the Export contacts button still doesn't appear, try another web browser.
In the Export contacts dialog, choose if you want to export all contacts or only contacts from a specific folder, and select Export.
Note: You can't select individual contacts to export, but you can select contacts from specific folders (for example, only Skype contacts or contacts from social media).
At the bottom of the page, select Save ("contacts.csv" is saved in your default Downloads folder), or select the arrow next to Save and select Save as to choose where you want to save the .csv file.
Now that your contacts are copied to a .csv file, you can import them to Outlook 2010, 2013, or 2016.
