When you add a right-mouse action, the action becomes available as a command on the shape's shortcut (right-click) menu.
When you add a shape event, you define how a linked shape responds when you copy it or drop it onto the page.
Include an on drop event with the shape

Refresh shape on drop
When you drop a master or copy a shape, the new shape is refreshed to match the database record the master or copied shape is linked to.
Select record on drop
Choose to select a new database record each time you drop a linked master or copy a linked shape.
Select database record
Adds a command to select the database record you want to link a shape to.
Refresh shape cells
Adds a command to refresh the shape to match the database record it's linked to.
If you don't select this option, you can still refresh the shapes from the Tools menu.
Update database record
Adds a command to update the database to match the shape's data.
If you don't select this option, you can still update database records from the Tools menu.
Delete shape and database record
Adds a command to delete both the shape and the database record it's linked to.
