Display an additional Contact Index

The Microsoft Outlook Contact Index is a set of buttons used to move through your contact items. The Contact Index moves the focus to the first contact whose name begins with the selected character.

To add an additional Contact Index so that you can use more than one language, do the following:

  1. In Business Card or Card view, click the Contact Index button Contact Index button , located at the bottom of the Contact Index.

  2. Click the language that you want for your additional index.

Note:  An additional Contact Index is available when one of the following languages is installed: Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Thai. A maximum of two indexes can appear at the same time.
