Default Preferences

Meeting Size. Default reservation size of scheduled meetings. Used to help with capacity planning on the server.

Streaming Media Custom Pane. Settings for the streaming media custom pane in the console, which Organizers can use to display HTTP or secure HTTP (HTTPS) content.

  • Attendee URL. Address of Web content that will be displayed by default in the attendees meeting console.

  • Presenter URL. Address of Web content that will be displayed by default in the presenters meeting console.

  • Frame Height. Height of the streaming media custom pane in the meeting console, expressed in pixels.

Audio Preferences. Phone numbers and dialing keys that will be displayed as part of the meeting information.

  • Preferred Audio. Specifies the type of audio used in the audio portion of the meeting.

  • Toll-free meeting phone number +1

    • Country/Region. Specifies the country or region code portion of the toll-free phone number which meeting participants can dial to participate in the audio portion of the meeting, or Presenters can dial to contribute audio to an Internet Audio Broadcast.

    • City/Area Code. Specifies the city or area code portion of the toll-free phone number.

    • Local Number. Specifies the local number portion of the toll-free phone number.

  • Toll meeting phone number +1.

    • Country/Region. Specifies the country or region code portion of the toll phone number that meeting participants can dial to participate in the audio portion of the meeting, or that Presenters can use to contribute audio to an Internet Audio Broadcast.

    • City/Area Code. Specifies the city or area code portion of the toll phone number.

    • Local Number. Specifies the local number portion of the toll phone number.

    • Organizer Default Dialing Keys. Codes to be supplied by Live Meeting before and after the service supplies the participant code when it dials into phone conferences for Internet Audio Broadcast or recording features.

    • Sample Dialing Keys. Additional dialing keys are used by recording and Internet audio broadcasts only.

    • Conferencing Provide Example. Example of how to enter the participant code given by the conferercning provider.

    • Organizer Default Dialing Keys:. Specifies the default audio dialing keys.

    • <participant code>. Specifies the participant audio code.

Additional Audio Information that is inserted in meeting invitations:

For Attendees. Specifies additional or alternative audio information to be supplied in the meeting invitation which an Attendee can use to participate in the audio portion of the meeting.

For Presenters. Specifies additional or alternative audio information to be supplied in the meeting invitation which a Presenter can use to participate in the audio portion of the meeting.

Allow additional audio information. Allows meeting Organizers to specify additional or alternative audio information supply in the meeting invitation.

Invitation Preferences. Default settings for meeting invitations.

  • Allow Outlook Integration (Requires ActiveX). Allows meeting Organizers the to send the meeting invitation using their own e-mail client, instead of the Live Meeting service.

Recording Preferences. Default settings for viewing meeting recordings.

  • All meeting participants can view recordings using their meeting entry information. Matchs the recording ID and recording key to the meeting ID and meeting key.

  • Only the Administrator and Organizer can view recordings. Restricts access to recordings to Administrators and Organizers.

  • Require extended registration. Requests e-mail address and company name from users who are attempting to access recordings.

The default preferences are applied to meetings organized by any member of the account. Therefore, do not configure at the account level items that are often member-specific and that should be set by members in their Meeting Options, such as default dialing keys for conference providers.
