If you need to format a large amount of text in your notes, you can save time by copying the current formatting from one selection of text and applying it to another with a single drag or click. This is especially useful if the source formatting consists of a large variety of combined formatting options (for example, text that has been formatted with a specific font, font size, font color, character style, alignment, and highlighting all at once).
Do the following:
Go to the page containing the text whose formatting you want to copy, and then select any part of that text.
On the Home tab, click the Format button.
If necessary, use the scrollbars or page tabs to bring the destination text into view.
Drag the paintbrush-shaped mouse pointer over the text to which you want to apply the formatting, and then release the mouse button to finish.
