Connect to a MySQL database (Power Query)

Use Excel's Get & Transform (Power Query) experience to connect to a MySQL database.

Note: Before you can connect to a MySQL database, you need the MySQL Connector/Net 6.6.5 for Microsoft Windows on your computer. Select the driver that matches your Office version.

Click the Data tab, then Get Data > From Database > From MySQL Database. If you don't see the Get Data button, then click New Query > From Database > From MySQL Database

In the Power Query ribbon tab, click From Database > From MySQL Database.
