Configure your account

The account information that you use to connect with Communicator Mobile is the same information that you use with Communicator 2007. If you do not know your account information, or if you cannot connect to the IM system, contact your system administrator.

To configure your accoun t

  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you are signed in, click Menu > Options.

    • If you are not signed in, click Options.

  2. Click Account > Sign-in address, and then enter your Communicator sign-in address, which is usually the same as your e-mail address. If you do not know your sign-in address, contact your system administrator.

  3. Click Domain\username, and then enter your domain name and user name in the specified format.

  4. Click Password, and then enter the password for your domain account.

  5. Optionally, click Remember password if you do not want to enter your password every time you sign in to Communicator.

  6. Optionally, click Sign in as and then click the presence status that you want to display when you sign in.

When you are finished, configure your server information by following the instructions in Configure your server information, beginning with step 2.
