Change the rotation or perspective of a 3-D chart

You can change the rotation or perspective of a 3-D chart to make it easier to read or to create the look that you want. Examples of 3-D charts are a 3-D Column, 3-D Pie, or 3-D Surface chart.

1. On the View menu, click Print Layout.

2. Click the chart, and then click the Chart Layout tab.

3. Under 3-D Rotation, do any of the following:

 To Do this Change the rotation Enter the degree of rotation that you want in the X and Y boxes, and then press ENTER . Change the perspective Enter the degree of perspective that you want in the Perspective box, and then press ENTER . A 3-D perspective is not a true 3-D chart because a third value axis (depth axis) is not used. If Perspective is not available Under 3-D Rotation, click 3-D Rotation, and then under Chart Scale, clear the Right angle axes check box.

Note: To adjust the chart area's scale, under 3-D Rotation, click 3-D Rotation, and then under Chart Scale, make the changes that you want.

PowerPoint
